How To Join

We encourage your child to visit 3-4 times to ensure you really wish to join our group. You will then need to purchase a uniform, pay the registration fee and be invested. This allows your child time to see if they enjoy being with the section and being a member. Your child can join in most events, even if they are new, as long as the Y1 Registration Form is complete and given to your Leader.

Hall Hire

Due to some disappointing and damaging events, our Committee is no longer willing to risk our precious hall on events for Under 25's.

If you do wish to hire our hall, please apply via our Hall Hire page with details of your event. We reserve the right of refusal with no wish to offend.

We have a large main hall with a small stage available for hire for approved social events. Our kitchen is large with plenty of prep space, an oven and microwave, urn and a fridge. Our rates are reasonable and we have the usual requirements about cleaning afterwards. There’s a security bond along with the Hire Conditions.
Check out our Hall Hire page to see images, our calendar and the application form.

Welcome to Hampton Park Scout Group

Scouting is over 100 years old and still going strong. This is because it’s a great programme for children who love challenges, playing outdoors, meeting new people, working together, learning from each other and generally having an adventurous time.

Scouts Australia’s age-related progressive program is unique – no other organisation offers such a diverse variety of activities and experiences across such a broad age-range. Joeys is for children 6 to 8, Cub Scouts is for children 8 to 11, Scouts is for children 11 to 15 and Venturer Scouts is for 15 to 18 years of age.

In Scouts, children learn independent thinking, social interaction, leadership skills, problem-solving and responsibility. Girls and boys are equally involved, and as Scouts progress through the age-based Sections, developing independence, reasoning and physical strength, they take on more responsibility for organising and running their own activities and challenges. Non-competitive activities where children can develop at their own pace are terrific for building their self-esteem and confidence.

We use a huge range of activities such as games, play, learning by doing, outdoor activities, challenges, teamwork, leadership and most of all fun. All this is facilitated by enthusiastic volunteer leaders who also love scouting. They are fully trained, with Working with Children and Police Clearances and are committed to bringing out the best in youth members in a safe environment.

At Hampton Park, we service our local areas including Morley, Beechboro, Kiara, Eden Hill, Bassendean, Guildford, Lockridge, Ashfield, Maylands, Dianella, Bayswater, Noranda and Inglewood.
